Tina is a multi-style yoga instructor registered under the Yoga Alliance, encouraging her students to play, have fun, and always approach yoga with a light heart. Tina has over eight years of teaching experience in the fitness world, and began her journey by teaching children's aerobics. With a background in dance, she has always seen the importance of connecting the physical body to the mental body.
First trained in India under Karolina Krawczyk (Ma Prem Sagar), and Acharya (Yogesh) Siddharth (Trimurti Yoga), she is certified to teach Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Hatha, and Yoga for Kids. Tina holds her Bachelor's Degree in Music, with a concentration in Music Industry from Ramapo College of New Jersey. She always sees the importance of connecting one's yoga practice to mutually meditative sound, whether it be to music or to the sound of breath. With over two thousand teaching hours in The US and Canada, she now resides in Abu Dhabi where she is teaching vinyasa and ashtanga yoga.
Tina is passionate about travel and yoga, and recently completed one month at the K Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute in Mysore on her third trip to India. She will continue to study at KPJAYI for years to come. Tina is also the co-founder and co-owner of www.bodhiyogaacademy.com; a school focusing on global yoga teacher training programs and travel retreats.
