"3 Tips From Ayurveda to Accelerate Your Practice (and your life)"
2015

You're hooked.  You're all in.  You came to the yoga mat and you've fallen in love.  But something happens after awhile.  You hit a plateau.  Sometimes this is physical: the shoulders just won't open, the hips seem to have hit their limit, or the arm balances are something you've come to accept as belonging to 'other bodies'.  Sometimes the plateau is physical, but less easy to identify: deeper fatigue, maybe, or auto immune issues, weight that won't let go with diet and exercise, or subtle aches and pains.  And sometimes the plateau is just, well, personal.  We don't feel the high we used to feel with our practice.  We start to feel disillusioned and frustrated.  Or we may have started to unearth deeper psychological issues and holding patterns that a yoga class simply doesn't teach you what to do with.  Here's the thing: the plateau is natural, and actually a good thing, and there is a way through.  But most of it will come OFF of the mat.  Learn three ayurvedic principals that can help you recharge and revitalize your practice, tap into a wellspring of healing and rejuvenation, and end up with more energy, more purpose, and more clarity.

This workshop will include some movement, but not a 'yoga class'.  You'll get a much better idea of where it is and why it is you feel stuck, open a whole new world of understanding yourself and what these yogic practices are intended to do, and plenty of take home ideas to fuel your inquiry and practice for years to come.
